The Society’s plans for the 2021/2022 season will, of course, depend largely on current and any future changes to COVID 19 regulations. As we move into the new season, this is what is planned:
Saturday 13th November: 7.30 p.m. Concert including the first performance of A Sure Refuge by David Fawcett – commissioned by West Lindsey District Council and supported by funding from Arts Council England. This concert was postponed from last season when it was to be part of the 400th Anniversary of the sailing of the Pilgrim Fathers.
Saturday 11th December: 7.30 p.m. Carols for All
Saturday 26th March 2022: 7.30 p.m. Spring Concert to include Mozart’s Requiem and other items by Mozart.
For GCS members:
Thursday 9th September: Rehearsals commence in All Saints’ Church, Gainsborough at 7.30 p.m.
Saturday 18th September: Afternoon workshop with David Fawcett at All Saints’ Church – 1.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
Saturday 16th October: Afternoon workshop with David Fawcett at All Saints’ Church – 1.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
Details of concert ticket prices will be announced as soon as possible, and tickets will continue to be available through our usual outlets. Details of this season’s Patron Scheme will also be announced shortly.
As we have all experienced over the last 18 months, COVID 19 rules can change quickly, so watch this site and our Facebook and Twitter accounts to pick up any changes.
We always welcome new singers to our group, anyone interested in joining should make contact with the Secretary, Deirdre Speed on firstname.lastname@example.org.
